The 28th IFAMA World Forum, Symposium and Student Case Competition "Sustainable Food Security 2050"

FORUM

A high quality, thought-provoking Forum with international speakers from businesses, public sector, academia. The Forum languages are English and Spanish; WiFi based simultaneous translation will be provided. The Forum starts on Monday afternoon, June 25th, and ends on Wednesday, June 27th. The G20 meeting scheduled for Buenos Aires a few months after IFAMA’s Forum will provide a number of timely, relevant, and strategic sessions.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CASE COMPETITION

IFAMA hosts the only global student case competition serving the agribusiness sector. This year, for the first time, it will be hosted in both English and Spanish. Teams will compete in one of these streams: Undergraduate, Intermediate, and Advanced. For the first time IFAMA will offer separate streams for English speaking and for Spanish speaking students. The case competition eliminatory rounds will take place concurrently on Sunday June 24th , with plenary session finals on Monday, June 25th.

SYMPOSIUM

A rich and stimulating international academic Symposium, with a Best Paper competition and a Best Case competition, in English and in Spanish. The Symposium starts on Saturday afternoon, June 23rd, and ends on Sunday afternoon, June 24th. We will have some academic presentations paper sessions also during the Forum, June 25th-27th. As done in prior years, IFAMA plans to publish in a special issue of its leading academic journal, IFAMR, the Best Papers and Best Cases in English. A dedicated, peer reviewed e-volume in Spanish, with print on demand, will also be published by the same publisher of IFAMR, with the best Spanish contributions. Read Complete Call for Papers Here

HOT TOPIC ROUNDTABLES

IFAMA is organizing  a very limited number of “Hot Issue” roundtables, to take place Monday June 25th – Wednesday June 27th. Suggestions for these activities will be accepted closer to the date of the event and the topic must be timely!

STUDENT IMMERSION

IFAMA also is considering several ancillary activities for students. Details to follow.
