Adecoagro buys two SanCor plants for $ 45 million

Adecoagro backed away from its original idea of taking full control of the dairy cooperative SanCor and bought only two plants of the dairy company. Adecoagro made a disbursement for $ 45 million to buy the Mortero plant that produces milk powder and cheeses and the Chivilcoy plant where fluid milk is produced. In addition, this transaction includes the acquisition of two SanCor brands: Angelita and Las Tres Ninas. Originally, Adecoagro had offered $ 400 million to obtain full control over SanCor.
