AGD launched transshipment terminal

AGD, Argentine´s crop producer and major peanut exporter, reports to have launched a new transshipment terminal in the port of Timbúes (Santa Fe province). The volume of investments in the construction is estimated at $ 150 million. With the launch of a new facility, AGD expects to annually transship 6 million tonnes of commodities. Storage capacity of the terminal’s grain elevators is 250,000 tonnes. The elevators will be able to receive commodities from truck, river and railway freight transport in the amount of up to 36,000 tonnes per day.
