Agroeco to build pork processing plant

Agroeco Group, one of the largest meat producers in Russia, has begun the construction of a pork processing plant in the Voronezh region of Russia worth RUB 13.5 billion ($ 209.1 million). Of the total investment, about RUB 10 billion ($ 155 million) will be borrowed from the Rosselkhozbank. The total capacity of the processing plant will reach 600 heads per hour or 3.8 million heads per year.
The plant is expected to be launched until Q2 2024. With the construction of the processing plant, Agroeco’s activities will cover the full pork production cycle.
