Agroprodservice invested $2.2 million in dairy production in 2020

Agroprodservice, a Ukraine-based large-scale livestock producer, has almost completed modernization of one of its four dairy farms. For this purpose, Agroprodservice bought 1,000 heifers from the EU for $2.2 million. After completion of the project, the farm will maintain 1,500 dairy cows. Also, the company’s total pig herd exceeded 100,000 heads with average piglet production of 15.7 piglets per sow in 2020.
In 2020, Agroprodservice exported 400 heifers raised at its own livestock farm and sold about 13,000 tonnes of pork (in live weight), 1,100 tonnes of beef (in live weight), 3,600 tonnes of chicken meat and 800 tonnes of turkey meat.
