Agroprosperis concluded the first in Ukraine grain swap deal

Agroprosperis concluded a swap deal for the supply of 10,000 tonnes of maize in March 2018 on the Odessa CPT basis, with reference to the price indicator of Thomson Reuters. This financial instrument was used in Ukraine for the first time. According to Igor Osmachko, Director of Agroprosperis, this form of trade can be an effective tool for hedging sales and maintaining the status of Ukrainian companies as reliable partners for customers from around the world.
