AgroTerra to produce soybean seeds
13 September 2019
AgroTerra, a Russia-based agroholding, plans to launch a complete cycle of soybean seeds production in the Kursk region of Russia. The key driver behind this decision is demand for seed material of high quality due to a large share of soybeans in the company’s crop structure. So far, soybeans account for 35% (62,000 hectares) of AgroTerra’s total operated farmland. The general partner of the project is PhosAgro-Region, the largest Russian distributor of mineral fertilizers.
