Astarta: revenue up 30%

Astarta, a Ukraine-based agroholding and leading sugar producer operating 250,000 hectares of farmland, reported consolidated revenue of $ 253 million in the first half of 2019, a 30% increase as compared to the same period in 2018. The share of exports in revenue rose from 52% in the first half of 2018 up to 62% in the first half of 2019. EBITDA grew from $ 66.6 million to $ 73.3 million. At the same time, net profit decreased 18.7% to $ 33.3 million.
