Avgust to engage in large scale farming

Russia’s leading producer of crop protection products Avgust plans to start crop and dairy production. In particular, the company wants to launch four agricultural enterprises on a total farmland area of 70,000 hectares in Russia and Kazakhstan. The main cultivated crops will be wheat, barley, rapeseed, sunflower and peas. Two dairy farms in the Krasnodar region and the Republic of Tatarstan are designed to maintain 700 and 1200 dairy cows, respectively.
