Avgust to extend farmland up to 250,000 hectares

Russia’s leading producer of crop protection products Avgust plans to increase its farmland area from 100,000 hectares to 250,000 hectares in the next five years, mainly in the Volga region. This decision is a part of the company’s strategy toward expanding its agricultural production which has been implemented since 2017. Additionally, Avgust wants to build a number of grain elevators and dairy farms. After the expansion project is completed, Avgust expects the annual consolidated revenue from its crop and dairy production segment to reach $170.4 million.
