Cherkizovo: cured meats sales up 21% in 2020

Cherkizovo, Russia’s large-scale meat producer, reports to have sold 48,600 tonnes of cured meats in 2020, a 12%-increase as compared to 2020. In monetary terms, the company’s sales of cured meats comprised $215.4 million in 2020, a 21%-increase as compared to 2019. As outlined by Cherkizovo, the following segments showed the most significant sales growth in monetary terms in 2020 as compared to 2019: premium quality cured meats (+430%), raw smoked sausages (+33%), and ham (+32%). In 2020, Cherkizovo produced 114,000 tonnes of meat products.
