Cherkizovo launched a new pig fattening farm

Cherkizovo Group has launched a hog farm in the village of Kuchugury in the Nizhnedevitsky district of the Voronezh region. The farm will produce more than 5,000 tonnes of pork per year. The new farm is part of the $ 128 million investment project on the development of pig breeding. The project includes the construction of seven farms with 40,000 animals each, a feed mill with a capacity of 60 tonnes per hour (with the possibility of increasing productivity to 90 tonnes per hour), and a silo with 150,000 tonnes of one-time storage capacity. Six of the seven farms have been already launched.
