Cherkizovo to buy Altaiskiy Broiler from Prioskolie

Cherkizovo Group will buy Altaiskiy Broiler, the largest poultry factory in Altai Krai, from Prioskolie Group. The structure of the vertically integrated complex includes a hatchery with a production capacity of 48 million eggs a year, a feed mill, four feeding grounds and a poultry slaughter and processing plant in Biysk.The cost of the poultry farm is estimated at RUB 1.5-6 billion ($ 22-88 million). In 2017, Altaiskiy Broiler produced 67,000 tonnes of poultry meat. The transaction could increase Cherkizovo's share of the Russian broiler meat market to 12 % and strengthen the company’s position in Siberia.
