Cherkizovo: turkey meat sales up 8% in Q1 2021

Cherkizovo, Russia’s large-scale meat producer, has reported on its sales results in Q1 2021. In particular, the company raised turkey meat sales 8% to 10,700 tonnes in Q1 2021, as compared to the same period in 2020. Chicken meat sales declined 3% to 169,200 tonnes in the reporting period. Also, Cherkizovo indicates that the average price for poultry meat rose 10% to $2.5/kg, and the price for chicken meat rose 22% to $1.7/kg in Q1 2021, as compared to Q1 2020.
