Continental Farmers Group started harvesting campaign

Continental Farmers Group (CFG), a Ukraine-based agroholding operating 195,000 hectares of farmland in the western part of the country, started harvesting of early winter grains, such as winter barley, wheat, rye, and spring wheat. CFG plans to harvest the crops from a total area of 102,000 hectares, of which 23,000 hectares are under winter barley, 33,800 hectares are under winter rapeseed, 42,200 hectares are under winter wheat, and 1,600 hectares are under spring wheat. Winter rye will be harvested from the area of 1000 hectares. 

During the harvesting period, CFG plans to use up to 750 machinery units: 93 own and 50 leased harvesters, as well as 600 trucks for the transportation of the harvested crops to its grain elevators.
