Cygnet Agrocompany completed sugar season

Cygnet Agrocompany, a vertically integrated Ukrainian agroholding, reports to have completed sugar season 2021 at its sugar plant. In 2021, the company produced 20,200 tonnes of sugar (2020: 18,900 tonnes of sugar) from 142,800 tonnes of sugar beets (2020: 140,300 tonnes of sugar beets). The concentration of sucrose in sugar beets has been estimated at 16.8%. This year, Cygnet has reduced the industrial consumption of natural gas at its sugar plant by 0.28 cubic meters per one tonne of processed sugar beets. 

Cygnet operates 28,000 hectares of farmland and is engaged in crop, sugar, and raw milk production.
