Damate Group to invest in turkey production in Primorye

Damate Group, a Russian agroholding engaged in production of turkey meat, dairy farming and milk processing, will invest RUB 12.2 billion ($ 179.28 million) in the construction of a poultry complex in Primorskiy Krai. The capacity of the complex will achieve 22,500 tonnes of poultry meat per year. The project also involves the construction of a feed mill with a capacity of 15 tonnes per hour and an elevator with a storage capacity of 30,000 tonnes. Damate Group produced 80,900 tonnes of poultry meat in 2017 and became officially the largest Russian turkey producer. By 2020, the company plans to expand its production to 155,000 tonnes per year.
