Damate launched turkey processing plant

Damate, a Russia-based agroholding, has launched a turkey-processing plant in the Penza region. The facility is designed to produce 303 tonnes of ham, sausages, and other ready products from turkey meat daily. In total, the facility operates 13 production lines. The worth of investments in the plant is around $121 million. Damate plans to sell meat products manufactured at the plant countrywide, as well as to export them. Armenia and Uzbekistan are among the first export destinations for the plant. In addition, Damate is now negotiating delivery terms with other countries.
