Damate relaunched production at Eurodon

11 August 2020

Damate, Russia’s largest turkey meat producer, has relaunched the former Eurodon’s production lines in the Rostov region. In particular, about 72,000 hatching turkey eggs are now being incubated, with the first chicks expected in the upcoming weeks, and further 70,000 eggs are to be delivered to the newly relaunched farms from the USA in the nearest time.  In addition, Damate has lately supplied the farms with 50,000 two-day old turkey chicks from Germany.

In 2020, Damate plans to produce 2,650 tonnes of turkey meat using former Eurodon’s capacities. Damate is claimed to be the major investor of Eurodon, which used to be Russia’s largest turkey meat producer, and was declared bankrupt in 2019.
