Donstar lacks working capital
02 January 2019
Donstar, Russia’s largest duck producer and a subsidiary of Eurodon agroholding, has encountered working capital problems. Currently, the company is negotiating the loan with the Rosselkhozbank to maintain the production level of 30,000 tonnes per year.
During January-September 2018, Donstar produced almost 18,000 tonnes of duck meat. As of November 2018, the company operated at about 80% of its capacity. The production complex of Donstar includes a hatchery, over 60 poultry houses, a feed mill and a meat processing plant.
