EkoNiva to invest $13 million in seed production

EkoNiva, Russia’s largest raw milk producer, wants to further develop seed production in the Kursk region by constructing another seed plant. The plant with a designed capacity of 200 tonnes of seeds per day is expected to be launched until 2022. The worth of the project is estimated at $13.1 million. Currently, EkoNiva produces 175,000 tonnes of seeds annually. With the new plant, the annual production will grow up to 250,000 tonnes of seeds.
