Eurodon detected bird flu at its poultry farm

Eurodon, a Russia’s leading poultry producer, reported on the detection of bird flu at one of the four production sites of the Ursdon subsidiary of Eurodon in the Rostov region. So far the losses amounted to 6,355 turkeys from the parent flock, or 9% of the total number of the parent turkeys at the subsidiary. According to the company, the commercial flock of turkeys, which currently comprises about 800,000 birds, was not affected.

Eurodon investigates the reasons for the bird flu outbreak and is taking quarantine measures.  Since 2016, Evrodon has reported on 4 cases of bird flu at its enterprises.
