Ak Biday-Terminal, a subsidiary of the state-owned Kazakh Food Contract Corporation (FCC), reported to have transshipped 712,000 tonnes of grain at the port of Aktau during 11 months of 2018. The terminal handled 400,000 tonnes of grain in the year-earlier period. The growth rate of 78% in the current year is due to increased exports of grains.
