IMC: EBITDA up 4,000%

IMC, a Ukraine-based agroholding, has reported net profit of $1.41 million in January-March 2021 (Q1 2021) against net loss of $14.8 million for the same period last year. Also, the company's revenue increased 16% to $58.6 million, while gross profit rose 120% to $11.3 million within the reporting period. Operating profit amounted to $3.18 million in Q1 2021, as compared to operating loss of $5.16 million in Q1 2020. EBITDA jumped 4,188% to 8.88 million. The key reason behind significant EBITDA growth were higher crop prices, which resulted in increase of gross profit for the reporting period.
