IMC increased revenues by 2% in 2017

02 May 2018

IMC, one of the largest agroholdings in Ukraine, issued its annual report. According to the report, the company’s revenue from crop production increased by 4% to $ 124.1 million, mainly due to an increase in prices for grains and oilseeds. The revenue from dairy farming decreased by 61% to $ 1.9 million due to an ongoing optimization of the dairy herd. The share of earnings from export was 73 % in 2017. EBITDA amounted to $ 39.1 million (-34 % compared to 2016) while net profit was $ 17.8 million (-19 % compared to 2016). The decline in net profits is associated with increased production costs and strengthening of the local currency (Ukrainian hryvnia).
