IMC: record winter wheat yield

IMC, a Ukraine-based agroholding, reports to have completed the harvesting campaign of winter wheat with a yield of 6.3 tonnes per hectare, a record high for the whole period of the company’s operations. In total, 82,300 tonnes of winter wheat were harvested from the farmland area of 13,100 hectares. The result exceeds the average countrywide yield of 4.04 tonnes per hectare by 55%. The key factors behind such productivity increase were well-timed sowing campaign and soil fertilization activities, as well as favorable weather conditions.
