International creditors of UkrLandFarming requested meeting with Ukrainian authorities

The creditors of one of Ukraine’s largest agroholdings UkrLandFarming reacted to the situation around its owner Oleh Bahmatyuk who is suspected in money-laundering, embezzlement and illicit enrichment by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. In particular, Rothschild & Co on behalf of Gramercy Funds Management LLC, The Export–Import Bank of the United States, Pala Assets Limited, Denmark's Export Credit Agency (EKF) expressed their intention to meet with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk, the Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova and the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov in order to discuss the possible risks and outcomes of the current legal proceedings for UkrLanFarming. Total debt of UkrLandFarming to national and international banks and financial institutions is estimated at $ 1.65 billion.
