Kernel confirmed its plan to purchase grain hopper cars

The Kernel agroholding can receive a reimbursement from the state budget of almost a third of the costs of grain hopper cars, if the president of Ukraine signs the respective bill on introducing amendments to the Customs Code, adopted by the Parliament. The bill states that 30 % of the cost of grain hopper cars to be compensated by the state budget. In December 2017, the agroholding ordered 500 hopper cars for $ 25 million. However, the Association of Farmers of Ukraine has already stated that it will ask the Parliament to veto the document, since it supports the large grain traders and will redistribute the money intended for subsidization of family farmers.
