Kernel joined UN Global Compact

Kernel, a Ukraine-based agroholding and world’s leading producer of sunflower oil, has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative aiming at encouraging businesses to stick to sustainable and socially responsible principles in their activities. Having made sustainability its core value, Kernel reports to steadily reduce its resource and energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, as well as support local communities in the regions of its operations. Until 2021, Kernel plans to allocate $ 170 million for implementing green energy projects.
