Komos Group to invest $ 45.8 million in business development

Komos Group, one of Russia’s largest producers of eggs and meat, plans to invest RUB 3 billion ($ 45.8 million) in the development of its enterprises and production sites. In particular, the company plans to reconstruct three production sites at its subsidiary Derzhavinskaya poultry farm in the Tatarstan Republic of Russia. The total volume of investment will reach RUB 119.8 million ($ 1.8 million).

In 2018, Derzhavinskaya poultry farm produced 20 million eggs. With the launch of reconstructed production sites, it is expected to increase the annual production volume to 120 million of eggs by the end of 2019. As for early 2019, the poultry population on the company’s farm amounted to 449,000 birds. Komos Group also intends to expand its business through mergers and acquisitions. Along with the poultry farms, Komos Group operates three pig farms, a meat processing plant, a refrigeration plant, a fish processing plant, three feed mills and a milk processing plant.
