KSG Agro: pork sales up 8.2%

23 January 2020

KSG Agro, a Ukraine-based agroholding, sold 10,066 tonnes of pork in live weight (or 100,000 heads) in 2019, an 8.2% increase as compared to the previous year. Having strengthened the safety measures at its production sites after the outbreaks of African swine fever last year, the company marks the rise of the demand for high-quality pork. In 2020, KSG Agro plans to further increase its sales and boost production volumes. For now, its pig complex maintains 60,000 pigs and 4,500 sows. In the mid-term perspective, KSG Agro wants to extend the number of sows up to 8,600 heads.
