Marfrig reduced net loss by 28%

The Brazil-based beef producer Marfrig declared a net loss of R$ 126 million ($ 33.5 million) in the second quarter of 2018. Thereby the company succeeded in reducing its loss by 28% compared to the same period last year. During the last session of the Brazilian stock market, Marfrig's share price has increased by 1.37% to R$ 6.67 ($ 1.77). In addition, Marfrig reported that China's regulatory bodies approved the announced in August sale of its Keystone Foods unit to Tyson Foods.
