MHP put poultry exports to the EU on hold

MHP, one of the largest agroholdings and a leading poultry producer of Ukraine, has temporarily stopped its exports to the EU countries due to the outbreak of bird flu in the Vinnitsa region where the company’s largest poultry farm is located. Considering the risk of bird flu spreading across other regions of Ukraine, the EU has taken regulatory measures preventing the shipments of poultry meat from Ukraine to its territory. MHP reports that all its production facilities continue to operate as usual, while veterinary authorities of Ukraine are in close cooperation with the EU to take all necessary steps to reopen the market for Ukrainian production.
