MHP: sunflower oil sales up 52%

MHP, a Ukraine-based agroholding, boosted the sales of sunflower oil 52% to 112,680 tonnes in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2019, as compared to Q4 2018. Also, the exports of sunflower oil rose 22% to 384,150 tonnes within the same period. At the same time, MHP reports a 4% decline in soybean oil exports to 11,760 tonnes in Q4 2019, as compared to Q4 2018.
In 2019, MHP harvested 2.41 million tonnes of crops from 363,000 hectares of farmland, a 9% increase as compared to the result of 2018. Currently, 75,000 hectares of farmland operated by MHP are under winter wheat and winter rapeseed.
