Miratorg expands its farmland area

Miratorg, Russia’s largest pork and beef producer, has acquired a 100%-share in a crop farm Izobilie in the Stavropol region, a former subsidiary of a bankrupt Russian agroholding Razgulay. Izobilie produces soybeans and corn on irrigated farmland area of 6,700 hectares. The worth of the deal has reportedly reached $23.5 million. Also, Miratorg has lately acquired a potato producer Bryansk-Agro operating 5,000 hectares in the Voronezh region. The farm’s value was estimated by independent experts at $ 6.3 – 9.4 million. Miratorg does not disclose any details on these deals.
