Miratorg fined for unauthorized construction of pig farms

Miratorg, Russia’s leading pork and beef producer, has stopped the construction of pig farms in the Kursk region due to the absence of permit documentation. The company is liable to an administrative fine of up to $ 15,000. The construction works are expected to be renewed once Miratorg receives the construction permit from the local authorities. Miratorg plans to double its pork production capacities in the nearest time.
