Miratorg purchased 36,000 hectares of land

Miratorg holding, the second largest meat producer in Russia, purchased 36,000 hectares of land in the Oryol region of Russia from the RAV Agro holding, which is a subsidiary of the Czech PFF Group. The company plans to allocate this area for grain and legumes production. Besides, the agroholding intends to launch a feed mill and an oil-extraction plant. The estimated transaction value for the land amounted to RUB 1.8 billion ($ 27.3 million). Thus far Miratorg operates 676,000 hectares of farmland in total.
