Miratorg to increase Aberdeen Angus herd 11%

Miratorg, Russia's leading beef producer, plans to increase its Aberdeen Angus maternal herd in the Kaliningrad region 11% to 49,000 cows. The company expects a record-high number of calves at its livestock farms in the Kaliningrad region in 2020, and plans to further raise beef cattle production. So far, Miratorg operates 97 livestock farms in the six regions of Russia, and its total Aberdeen Angus herd equals 700,000 cows.
