Mriya to triple the planted area under potatos

Mriya agroholding, one of the leading potato producers in Ukraine, finished the harvest of potatoes for this season. The average crop yield amounted to 37.7 tonnes per hectare. The company expanded the crop area from 92 hectares in 2017 to 634 hectares in 2018 and plans to increase it to 2.038 hectares in 2019. Mriya operates its own storage facilities with a total volume of 52,000 tonnes of potatoes and a starch plant with a processing capacity of up to 600 tonnes of potatoes per day in the Ternopil region of Ukraine.
