Nibulon to invest in transshipment terminals in 2019

09 January 2019

Nibulon, a Ukraine-based vertically integrated agroholding, summed up the results of 2018 and outlined the investment projects for the current year. In July 2019, the company plans to launch a transshipment terminal in the Zaporizhia region of Ukraine. The new enterprise will provide jobs for 120 people, reduce the transportation costs of regional agricultural producers, and replenish the local budget with more than $ 2.7 million of taxes annually. The total worth of the investment project equals $ 19 million. One more terminal is to be built in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine by July 2019.

In 2019, Nibulon also intends to increase the grain storage capacity of its transshipment terminal in the Kherson region by 20,000 tonnes, as well as to expand the enterprise capacity for storage of rice. In addition, a new electro-hydraulic crane facility with a lifting capacity of up to 42 tonnes will be put into operation at the company’s shipyard at the beginning of 2019.
