Ovostar Union: egg exports down 2.3 times

Ovostar Union, a Ukraine-based publicly listed agroholding, produced 392 million eggs in January-March 2020 (Q1 2020), a 2% increase as compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the company’s total sales declined 28% to 241 million eggs, and its export volumes fell 2.3 times to 81 million eggs in Q1 2020. Also, Ovostar Union produced 837 tonnes of dry egg products and 3,780 tonnes of liquid egg products in Q1 2020, an increase by 14% and 6%, respectively, as compared to Q1 2019.
