Ovostar Union: egg exports down 40% in 2020

Ovostar Union, Ukrainian vertically integrated agroholding and large-scale egg producer, reports to have exported 266 million eggs within nine months of 2020, a 40% reduction as compared to the same period last year. Egg sales declined 10% to 795 million eggs. In January-September 2020, Ovostar sold 2,420 tonnes of dry egg products, of them 72% were exported. Sales of liquid egg products decreased 7% to 9,690 tonnes within the same period of time, of them 36% were exported.
Meanwhile, Ovostar raised egg production volumes 4% to 1.236 billion eggs.
