Ovostar Union: egg exports down 50% in H1 2020

Ovostar Union, Ukrainian vertically integrated agroholding and large-scale egg producer, exported 169 million eggs in the first half of 2020, a 50% reduction as compared to the same period of 2019. Meanwhile, production volumes increased 1% to 793 million eggs. Total egg sales in January-June 2020 declined 19.7% to 490 million eggs, and average egg sales price reduced 7% to $0.059/egg.
