Owners of agroholdings among the wealthiest Russian families in 2020

A recent ranking prepared by Forbes.ru discloses Russia’s ten wealthiest families based on the worth of their assets as per mid-2020. Three of them own and operate Russia’s largest agroholdings.

In particular, the owners of AFK Sistema (542,000 hectares of farmland), the Evtushenkovs family with a fortune of $2.3 billion, were ranked fifth. Meanwhile, the owners of Russia’s largest meat producer Miratorg (1 million hectares), the Linniks family, are at the ninth position ($1.35 billion). The last place in the ranking went to the Mikhailovs family that owns large-scale meat producer Cherkizovo, with a fortune of $1.1 billion.
