Prodimex and EkoNiva to launch dairy farms

Prodimex, Russia’s largest landowner and leading sugar producer, intends to close its dairy farms for 4,500 cows in the Voronezh region of Russia. In addition, Prodimex will launch three innovative dairy farms for 8,400 cows in cooperation with Russia’s largest milk producer EkoNiva. One of the farms is to be launched in the upcoming days, while the other two similar farms will be built in 2019.
The total worth of the investment project is estimated at RUB 7.2 billion ($ 108 million). Within the framework of the project, Prodimex has allocated 15,000 hectares for the farms and feed lots, while Ekoniva is in charge of construction supervision and operational management.
