Prodimex to produce sugar for retail

Prodimex, a Russia-based agroholding, plans to sell sugar on the Russian retail market. For this purpose, the company has launched the test packaging lines at its Pereleshynsky sugar plant in the Voronezh region for 1 kg and 5 kg bags. The daily packaging capacity is 250 tonnes of sugar. Also, Prodimex plans to start the production of refined sugar cubes in the nearest future. Previously, Prodimex used to produce sugar in 50 kg bags for wholesale.
