Rusagro: revenue up 16% in Q1 2020

Rusagro, a Russia-based agroholding, reports consolidated revenue of $454 million in Q1 2020, a 16% increase as compared to Q1 2019. In particular, revenue fom fat-and oil production rose 20%, and fat-and-oil segment accounted for 46% in the company's revenue structure in Q1 2020.In January-March 2020, Rusagro sold 416,000 tonnes of its fat-and-oil products, a 14% increase as compared to the same period of 2019. In particular, sales of mayonnaise rose 57% to 31,000 tonnes, and sales of raw vegetable oil increased 23% to 188,000 tonnes.Revenue from meat production rose 31% in Q1 2020, as compared to Q1 2019. Meat segment accounted for 20% of Rusagro's revenue in Q1 2020.

At the same time, if compared to Q4 2019, consolidated revenue declined 26% in Q1 2020 due to seasonal decrease in production volumes and sales.
