Rusagro to extend farmland up to 1 million hectares

Rusagro, a Russia-based agroholding, plans to extend its farmland area up to 1 million hectares in the mid-term perspective. Today the company operates 538,000 hectares. Also, Rusagro wants to raise its annual pork production up to 400,000 tonnes in live weight using its existing capacities. In 2020, the company produced 308,000 tonnes of pork in live weight. At the same time, Rusagro does not plan to extend its milk segment in the nearest future.
