Ruskom to build broiler breeding farm

Ruskom, the largest producer of turkey meat in the Siberian part of Russia, will launch the first broiler breeding site of its broiler farm in the Tyumen region. The plan is to construct nine sites in total, three of which will be built for replacement chicks and six for the parent herd. The project investment volume exceeds $99 million. The first day-old chicks will appear at the breeding site in mid-June. The second site is to be commissioned at the end of July - beginning of August. According to the company, the broiler farm will reach its designed capacity of 40,000 tons of broiler meat per year in 2021.
