04 December 2019

Rusmolco, a Russian agroholding affiliated with Singapore’s Olam International, plans to boost milk production 33% to be able to produce 120,000 tonnes in 2020. By the end of 2019, Rusmolco’s dairy herd will grow 8.5% and amount to 22,200 cows while the total milk output is expected to reach 90,000 tonnes, a 10% increase as compared to 2018. Currently, the company is constructing the $70.2 million-worth dairy complex in the Penza region. The complex will maintain 10,400 dairy cows and produce 160,000 tonnes of milk annually and, thus, it will become the largest closed-cycle dairy complex in Russia.
